Brazilian-born Christian Rosa is known for his sophisticated and lively mark-making, which is at once reductive and emotive. Influenced by the compositions of Joan Miró and Wassily Kandinsky, Rosa's work is an intuitive and balanced play between the nakedness of the raw canvas and the potential of each chosen medium.
Rosa has been included in major exhibitions including MOMENTA at the Venice Biennale, Saatchi Gallery’s Pangaea, and solo exhibitions at the Fondazione Sandretto Re Rebaudengo, Kunstverein Heilbronn and Contemporary Fine Arts. Rosa's inaugural solo show at White Cube opens tomorrow.
